On February 12,2009,the 30th anniversary of the Establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Portugal was held in Beijing jointly organized by Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with foreign countries and Portugal Embassy to China. The Vice Chairman of CPPCC Mr. Bai Lichen,president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with foreign countries Mr. Chen Haosu,the assistant of Chinese Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Wu Hongbo,Portugal’s Ambassador to China Mr.Rui Quartin Santos and other hundreds of guests from home and abroad attended the conference.On the reception,the two sides gave a high evaluation about the healthy and stable development relationship between China and Portugal in the past 30 years, they also showed,the cooperation of the two countries in the time of future is to strengthen the communication and confidence, to handle the global economic crisis jointly.
